Hi, my name’s Renaissance Girl

And I am powerless over DVRs. Saturday, one of my home care clients couldn’t find some of her recordings on her DVR. I cleaned out some recordings she didn’t want and recreated some of her timers, but I think I made the situation worse.

Full disclosure: I don’t own a TV. Well, I do, but it’s a console TV older than I am. It hasn’t worked since George W. Bush’s first term, and I keep saying I’m going to take the guts out and put in a fish tank. That requires money, spare time, and aptitude with tools, none of which I have in abundance.

To make matters worse, this is my most excitable client, and she is very upset that her recordings of “Giuliana and Bill” stop in June and her recordings of “Grimm” have gone missing.

Can someone tech-savvy please advise?
